Biography

Joel will be researching the consequences of economic inequality on individual behaviour and decision-making. Joel graduated from the LSE in 2013 with a Master's in Public Administration. Following graduation, he worked at the LSE Public Policy Group as Managing Editor of the school's British Politics and Policy blog. Since September 2015, Joel has been working for the Bank of England.

  • The consequences of inequality
  • The intersection of behavioural science and public policy
  • The economic, social and political consequences of technology
  • Financial stability and regulation

Joel's latest projects include:
