Welcome to STICERD's "virtual center" for fieldwork in Development Economics.
The purpose of this site is to serve as a resource for faculty and graduate students in economics
who are doing or would like to do fieldwork. Currently, we have posted a number of general resources,
but as part of the interactive growth in this site, we hope to provide a forum for the discussion of
issues of methodology.
The site contains the following sections:
|
| |
questionnaires: we list links for questionnaires that have been used.
Feel free to either send us your questionnaire or any relevant links
|
| |
methodology: we list economic and selected non-economic resources
that provide general guidelines on methodology
|
| |
datasets: a partial list of sites with datasets with public access.
|
| |
questions & answers: this will be for the discussion of issues that people
would like feedback. New questions are welcome. To post an issue or response, please mail the administrator M.P.Goldstein@lse.ac.uk
|
| |
books & articles: a list of some relevant economic and non-economic sources for general fieldwork issues,
this also includes some publications on ethical issues
|
| Hopefully this site will grow over time. If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, please email the administrator, Markus Goldstein M.P.Goldstein@lse.ac.uk
