Citizen Think Tanks

LSE's Knowledge Exchange and Impact Fund has supported LSE Housing and communities to build upon and enhance our previous success in knowledge exchange. LSE Housing uses innovative and interactive Think Tanks to bring together key actors to brainstorm problems and develop realistic ways of solving them.

We wanted to utilise this Think Tank model in order to build further on three topics that have proven to be of increasing political and social importance; the role of private renting; debt and financial resilience and estate regeneration. Doing so will help to provide valuable knowledge and experience from a variety of key actors, including residents, citizens, practitioners within housing organisations and charities, and policy makers. These mixed forums will allow for increased knowledge and experience exchange, adding huge value and depth to our existing ongoing research, as well as functioning as valuable qualitative research opportunities.
