About this event

This is a CASE Special Event to launch the findings of the Insecure Lives study with a panel discussion.

Millions of UK residents are worrying about multiple issues including money, work, housing, health and caring responsibilities.

New ESRC and MHCLG-funded research by a team from LSE, Bristol, Leeds, de Monfort, Sheffield Hallam and Ulster universities explores the concept of ‘multiple insecurities’, the number of people affected, trends over time, the experience for people affected, and the impact on wellbeing and opportunities.

Join Becky Tunstall, Abigail McKnight, Helen Lomax and other members of the research team, plus a panel including Nicola Smith, TUC, Stephen Aldridge, MHCLG and Tania Burchardt, LSE, to discuss the findings and their implications.

Time: Arrive at 5:15pm for 5:30pm start. The event will run until 7:00pm and will be followed by refreshments until 7:30pm
Location: Sumeet Valrani Lecture Theatre, Floor 1, Centre Building, LSE, London WC2A 2AE (or online)

This event will be hybrid. Please choose online tickets for the link to the event.
