About this event

How does the Biden-Harris Administration evaluate the current state and growth trajectory of the U.S. economy as it emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic? How are the Administration’s plans to expand infrastructure investment and aid to families and children likely to impact the U.S. in the long run? In this lecture, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers Cecilia E. Rouse will offer a rare inside view of U.S. economic policymaking at the beginning of a new presidency. Her lecture will provide a fast-paced tour of the macroeconomic issues confronting the Administration and discuss the role of economists and economic research in U.S. policy debates.
