The Michio Morishima Fund has been set up to provide small grants to research students in any of STICERD's research programmes.
The Michio Morishima Fund has been set up to provide small grants to research students in any of STICERD's research programmes.
Grants of up to £700 to cover research expenses can be awarded.
Students should apply to either STICERD's Director (Camille Landais) or Deputy Director (Tania Burchardt) indicating to which research group they belong and setting out the precise requirement for funding.
These grants can cover a contribution to travel and subsistence costs for conference/workshop attendance; equipment and other research expenses. Payments will only be made against submitted receipts.
Students can only obtain up to £700 throughout the course of their studies.
