About this event
National governments in both the US and the UK are trying to use the post pandemic period to reduce long standing disparities on economic performance across cities and metropolitan areas. These "Levelling Up" strategies occur at a time of radical economic restructuring, which opens up intriguing opportunities for former industrial areas. There are enormous differences, however, between how these strategies are being designed and delivered in each country -- the topic of this seminar.
These seminars are held on Wednesdays in term time at 12:00-13:00
Seminars this year will continue as in person or as hybrid (online and in person) events. Please check our website listings and Twitter feed @CASE_LSE for updates.
