Biography
Ceri recently completed her ESRC-funded PhD titled "Command over time: examining the role of time demands in work-related conditionality". She is currently a Research Fellow in the Work and Equalities Institute at the University of Manchester, where she is conducting research on the potential to influence employer practices and increase access to decent work through local policy initiatives and campaigns. Ceri is also the founder and co-lead for the Social Policy Association's Employment Policy group. Her research explores labour market inequalities in the UK and how these are shaped by government and employer policies and practices, with a particular focus on experiences of low-wage work and the design of activation and employment support policies.
