Biography

Ingrid Robeyns joined CASE as a visiting professor in 2023, in addition to continuing her appointment as a professor of ethics of institutions at Utrecht University, where she is directing the Visions for the Future project. Trained as an economist and philosopher, she is interested in the big question how a good society would look like, and in particular, what, if anything, would be a better political economy (or socio-economic system) than the current form of neoliberal capitalism. She is collaborating with colleagues at CASE on wealth inequality, in particular the Extreme Wealth Line project (coordinated by the Patriotic Millionaires UK).
