Congratulations to Professor Oriana Bandiera who has been awarded the De Sanctis Prize for Economic Sciences. She was presented the award in a ceremony at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Italy in Rome. 

Oriana was awarded the prize for her research on inequalities, poverty traps and the role of opportunities in social mobility - topics that are crucial fro the sustainable and inclusive development of economic systems. 

The De Sanctis Prize honours figures whose studies contribute significantly to understanding contemporary economic dynamics.
