Biography
Irene Bucelli is a CASE Research Officer whose research focuses on multidimensional inequality, poverty and deprivation. She studies the empirical and normative relation between poverty and different forms of inequality as well as the policy implications of different theoretical approaches to understand inequalities and poverty. Her policy analysis work has contributed to the development of innovative resources and online toolkits to support policy development, with a particular focus on policies with the potential of having a ‘double dividend’ - capable of tackling both poverty and inequality. Irene is also Programme Coordinator of the LSE Public Policy Review Programme at the School of Public Policy.

- A review of the Households Below Average Income (HBAI) material deprivation measures and the questions in the Family Resources Survey (FRS) which are used to derive these measures, commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
