Programme Coordinator, Huth Initiative for a New Political Economy

Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 p.a. inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 p.a. inclusive of London allowance.

This is a fixed-term appointment for two years, with possibility of extension.

The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Huth Initiative for a New Political Economy, a major new research programme at LSE that brings together leading academics to develop the ideas, policies and institutions for a fairer and more cohesive economic system. Working closely with the Programme Manager, the post holder will provide high-quality administrative, financial and logistical support across all areas of the programme's work, including research, policy engagement and events. They will also serve as Executive Assistant to the Director (Sir Tim Besley), Executive Director (Dr Daniel Chandler) and Policy Director (Professor Richard Davies), supporting diary management, correspondence and meeting coordination. This is a varied and dynamic role, well suited to an organised, motivated and collegial individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the mission of the Huth Initiative to shape a new political economy for the twenty-first century.
