About this event
The Department of Government and the PSPE group at STICERD will host a half-day workshop bringing together early-career researchers conducting quantitative and formal theory work from all sub-fields of Political Economy, Public Policy/Public Administration, and Political Science.
The workshop provides a forum to discuss research across the full range of topics in these fields. Its aim is to foster dialogue, encourage interdisciplinary exchange, and support early-career scholars in developing and refining their work.
This workshop is designed to support the development of early-career scholars’ research, including PhD, postdocs, and newly appointed assistant professors based in the UK. Each paper will be pre-circulated, assigned a discussant, and followed by Q&A. For presenters travelling from outside London, limited travel support is available.
- Applicants are invited to submit a 150-word abstract and a draft, along with brief information on their current academic status.
- The deadline for submission is Friday 28 December.
- Successful applicants will be notified on 5 January 2026.
- The workshop will take place on Friday 30 January 2026.
