About this event

Smartphones and social media have transformed the shape of our days, the way we get information, and the way we connect with others. While they have brought tremendous benefits, they have also sparked widespread concern about harms both to users themselves and to society more broadly.

Listen to a recording of the event:

Matthew Gentzkow will discuss research that speaks to these concerns, focusing on two topics -- the impact of social media on polarization and the impact of social media on mental health and well-being -- and consider implications for policy, parenting, and our own relationship to these technologies.

Please register here to attend in-person.

To attend online, please: register via zoom.
