Biography

Thoriq is a Predoc at STICERD, working with Oriana Bandiera, Robin Burgess, and Clare Balboni. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universitas Padjadjaran and is completing an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics at LSE. Prior to joining STICERD, he was an SRA at J-PAL Southeast Asia, where he contributed to multiple randomized evaluations in the education sector in Indonesia. His research interests lie in development economics, especially at the intersection of education, labor, and inequality.
