Biography

Ninon is a researcher at the International Tax Observatory, based at the Paris School of Economics. She works at the intersection of public economics, international economics, and development, with two connected empirical research strands: how the extractive sector contributes to economic development and how its regulation reshapes that contribution; and how states pursue economic policy objectives beyond their borders through supply-chain due diligence, carbon border adjustment, and other forms of extraterritorial trade regulation. She also has a methodological interest in measuring and estimating nonlinear treatment effects in applied settings.
