Biography

Tim is Associate Professor of Public Policy and Economics, specialising in health economics. Tim?s research focuses on the economics of health insurance markets, with a particular focus on markets and social health insurance programs for low-income households. He studies the design of social insurance programmes, especially Medicaid and Medicare, with particular interest in the role of private providers in delivering public social insurance benefits. During his time at LSE, Tim will turn his attention to the economics of private supplemental health insurance markets across Europe.
