Biography
Cheryl Conner (1979-2024) was CASE Centre Administrator between 2010 and 2019 and again from September 2022. Cheryl first joined CASE as John Hills’ Personal Assistant and Centre Administrator. She stayed at CASE for nine years, only leaving following a move to the Midlands and a desire to work more directly with people experiencing disadvantage. She had several different roles following her departure from CASE, including as a Community Support Worker for North Warwickshire Borough Council during the COVID-19 pandemic, playing an important keyworker role ensuring older people were kept safe in their own homes. On her return to CASE in September 2022, Cheryl played a key role in supporting the Centre's research projects, knowledge exchange activities, smooth running of the Centre and wider administrative duties. Cheryl graduated from LSE with a BSc in Social Policy in 2010 and a Masters in Social Policy and Planning in 2013.
