Biography

Vincent Harting is a STICERD Research Fellow and the Research Director of the Alternatives to Capitalism Programme. Vincent has most recently been an LSE Fellow in Political Theory in the Government Department, where he also completed his PhD; he has also taught several courses on philosophy and public policy across the School. He will already be familiar to some through his recent work developing and convening a series of events for the Alternatives to Capitalism initiative, which has grown out of the Programme for Cohesive Capitalism. Vincent's current research focuses on democratic theory and economic justice, with particular interests in the constitutional empowerment of workers, corporatist strategies for democratic egalitarianism, and the role of markets within socialist frameworks.
